Allison Warrington is an artist and textile designer with a love for vibrant and bold colors. Inspired by nature and the beauty of the female form, many of her pieces combine the two to create an abstract, but detailed piece of "organized chaos".

Since she was a child Allison has always loved to create with her hands. Whether it be painting, sewing or building a piece of furniture..... if she could dream it, she could create it. My A La Mode was first a dream around the age of 12. Her imagination would run wild with visions of having her own clothing line made with beautiful hand painted textiles. "I was always drawn to the idea of creating my own unique surface designs with paint and dye instead of working with pre-printed fabrics". So after attending university for fashion design, Allison set out to pursue her dream of creating functional, wearable art; and thus My A La Mode was born!

My A La Mode has evolved over the years as Allison's visions have changed, but one constant has, and always will remain.....you can never have too much color!!!

"When you buy something from an artist, you're buying more than an object. You're buying hundreds of hours of errors and experimentation. You're buying years of frustration, and moments of pure joy. You're not buying just one thing, you're buying a piece of a heart, a piece of a soul...a small piece of someone else's life. Most importantly, you are buying that artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about; something that makes all of the above worth the fear and doubt; something that puts the life into living" - Rebekah Joy Plett
